Mircea Cantor is an artist who knows how to listen carefully to bird songs and ancient stories that speak of the past and present at the same time. He feels a strong connection to the world around us and a deep link with nature. He explores the past through the eye of an eagle –  focused, calm, always present. Anchored in the present he finds inspiration in his roots, traditions and human behaviour. His work is both poetic and political engaged, reflecting sharp on global issues and evolution of mankind. To date, his works have explored a wide range of topics and include drawing, photography, installation, sculpture, video and printmaking.
